Trump Trying to Create Terrorists

Donald Trump’s proposal to have the U.S. take control of Gaza and forcibly relocate its people is illegal, immoral, and disastrous. Forcing an entire population out of their homeland violates international law, specifically the Fourth Geneva Convention, which bans the forced transfer of civilians. It also meets the definition of ethnic cleansing—an attempt to erase a people from their land. History has condemned these actions in Bosnia, Myanmar, and beyond. Doing this in Gaza would be no different.

The humanitarian consequences would be devastating. Gaza’s 2.3 million people are already living in extreme hardship. Forcing them into Egypt, Jordan, or elsewhere would create a massive refugee crisis that these countries cannot handle. Palestinians have already suffered generations of displacement since 1948, and this would only make their suffering permanent. No one should be forced from their home to make room for someone else’s vision of a “better” future.

This plan would also inflame tensions across the Middle East. Arab nations that have been cautiously working with Israel and the U.S. would see this as an attack on their people. Egypt and Jordan, already under pressure, would face internal unrest. Even Israel’s Western allies might struggle to justify supporting such an obviously unjust and reckless move. Instead of stability, it would create more chaos.

For Israel and the U.S., this would be a security nightmare. Forcing people from their land does not bring peace—it breeds resentment and fuels extremism. Groups opposed to Israel and the U.S. would use this as a powerful recruitment tool, rallying people around a cause fueled by anger and loss. Rather than ending violence, this would guarantee more of it, for generations to come.

The only real path to peace is one that respects Palestinian rights. This means addressing the root causes of conflict: occupation, settlement expansion, and political oppression. Peace cannot be imposed through force, and history shows that attempts to do so always fail. Ignoring Palestinian voices and treating them as obstacles instead of people will only make the situation worse.

Gaza is not an empty plot of land waiting for redevelopment—it is home to millions of people with deep ties to their land. Many have already been displaced multiple times. Suggesting they should just move elsewhere is not just cruel, it is delusional. The idea that Gaza should be emptied to make way for a luxury “Riviera” shows a complete disregard for human lives.

The international community must reject this plan outright. The UN, the EU, and world governments need to take a strong stand against any attempt to forcibly remove Palestinians. History has shown that when ethnic cleansing is ignored, it only encourages more of it. This is a moment that demands clear and immediate opposition.

Instead of pushing dangerous, colonial-style policies, efforts should focus on lifting the blockade on Gaza, rebuilding its infrastructure, and working toward a real political solution. The people of Gaza need aid, rights, and self-determination—not another round of suffering imposed by outside powers. This plan must be condemned and stopped before it leads to even more catastrophe.
